Miam's Frank Haith agree's to coach mizzou.

According to sources with direct knowledge of the situation, Miami head coach Frank Haith has accepted the head coaching position at Missouri to replace Mike Anderson.

Haith and Missouri athletic director Mike Alden met in Houston on Saturday, just days after Alden was turned down by Purdue coach Matt Painter.

Haith and Alden have discussed a multiyear contract in the 6-year range. Missouri officials are scheduled to meet late Monday night to confirm terms of the contract.

Haith will fly to Miami to talk to his team Monday and then to Columbia, Mo., to be formally introduced.

Haith has two years left on his contract with Miami, worth a total of about $3 million. He has gone 129-101 in seven seasons with the Hurricanes.

Should we worry at all about Frank going to Miami? I don't think so.

The first thing I said when I read the head line was, oooh shit. I don't think he is leaving (because he has those cowboy boots) but stranger things have happened.

Don't have any insider info, but some of the media outlets in Miami are reporting they don't have the money to go after Frank (Martin).

I've heard that too but I've also heard that Miami is Frank's "dream job" for whatever reason. I'm not ready for HCBU. What makes me feel better is this: "this tweet from Seth Davis of CBS Sports might temper your optimism. "Miami fans dreaming of Shaka Smart can forget it. VCU is better job than Miami. Richmond fans care. Miami fans barely turn out for the Heat."

Are you listening Frank? You'll NEVER be as loved there as you are here!

Someone talk me down!

There's a story on GoPowercat.com talking about Frank's level of interest in Miami. Someone with access needs to report on this immediately. Where the hell is everyone on the day of the most important story in school history? Why haven't we organized a protest to ADJC to demand he do something?

What more can he do? I don't think the school has enough money to offer a larger contract then what we gave him last year. Especially with all the new construction going on.

In all honestly I do not see Frank taking this job. If we was a serious candidate we would see much much more activity on ther interwebs about this.

A couple of other names for Miami:

UCF head coach Donnie Jones and Florida State assistant Stan Jones

Just got done reading a butt load of articles that suggests that Frank:
1: proved he is legit
2: did nothing but build the program (aka, how can you have hard feelings)
3: basically has made it clear that Miami is his dream job (we all knew wvu was Hugs)
4: finished Pullens career
5: dealt with classic KSU drama
6: prob would like Miami's schedule over the new Big 12 one coming up
7: makes exactly the same as Haith made

The list could go on, but I will stop there.  :(  This could ruin my summer

For the record, I don't think HCFM is as interested in the Miami job as the media perceives it to be.  There is no arguing that south Florida is home, but the pay and program is no better in Miami.  Unless Frank is unhappy internally with KSU, I just don't see it happening.
