They took a typical Martin I'm not going to lie like Roy Williams response and spun it to make a catchy reader grabbing headline. Frank isn't leaving us. He Can't.

Quote from: ESPN
Michelle Kaufman of the Miami Herald raised a great point on Tuesday: are Kansas State's Frank Martin and Alabama's Anthony Grant, the two apparent front-runners for the Miami job, even in the school's price range?

"Grant makes $1.8 million per year, and Martin makes an average of $1.55 million through 2015," wrote Kaufman. [Frank] Haith reportedly made in the $1 million range, and perks such as charter flights -- which would be helpful considering the distance between UM and opponents -- are harder to get at UM.

As of Tuesday evening, Miami officials reportedly hadn't even called Martin.

The money factor alone could very well eliminate Martin and Grant from serious consideration. It could also improve the liklihood that the Hurricanes go after one of the candidates we mentioned yesterday, UCF head coach Donnie Jones or Florida State assistant Stan Jones.

Man, obviously with big news like this, I was hitting all sites to see if I missed anything.... BAD IDEA, went over to goEMAW and I realized how much time I was wasting reading pointless thread titles and seeing all the bad karma. I happened to find one thread that actually was talking about new information, but then realized again that only 7.33% (repeating of course) of the thread had real information or positive thoughts. I honestly feel sorry for the lurkers over there that are not aware of other free sites. They make a serious concern into a joking story while insulting the program. Must give them props on at least accomplishing that worthless information.

ESPN has added Mike Jarvis, Florida Atlantic, as a possibility for the Miami opening. He's joins the following list of candidates:

Frank Martin, K-State
Anthony Grant, Alabama
Donnie Jones, UCF
Stan Jones, Florida State assistant

Another reason why I don't think it will be Frank is going, you don't want to replace a coach with the same name as your previous coach.

For example we would NOT want to replace Bill Snyder with any other Snyder.
