I WILL Blame Snyder

I will blame Snyder if Klein doesn't win the Heisman. I understand his "never put the individual above the team" style, but in this case he's dead wrong.

Having a player who wins the Heisman does nothing but HELP the team. This isn't an individual award when it comes to coaches going into recruits homes and telling them that they have the opportunity to win the Heisman. All they will see now is Snyder having 3 opportunities to publicly support a players Heisman campaign (Bishop, Sproles, Klein) and he hasn't.

It shows that GREAT players at K-State has 0 chance of winning the award if we don't go to undefeated.

I understand the university has set up a campaign, but Snyder, the man himself, verbally abused a reporter for asking a question about the Heisman race. Voters want to hear it from the coach, not some band-aided flyer.

No need to blame Snyder.  Every voter knows Snyder and knows how he is.  Snyder has said a number of times how great Klein is, even in the loss to Baylor he said Klein came in and ran the team in the second half and did great at it.  He just wont campaign because that ALWAYS brings unwanted attention in the media.  Think why you dislike good coaches, because 1: they either beat you all the time (Stoops), or 2: they are in the media over that crap (Nick last night talking about SEC champ loser not getting to go to BCS). 

Klein only had one shot, and that was go undefeated.  That was known in week 1 and in week 6 and even before Baylor.  He does not match stats of others this season, so leading a team undefeated was his ticket.  I think hes great, and will win a lot of rewards at the end of the season and be remembered for some time along with the list you listed above.  But until someone with flash like RG3 comes along, then a loss or two wont be the deal breaker.

It is false to assume the media and voters know Snyder, because they do not! Some regional and local media know how Snyder operates, but the East coaster and those at ESPN who run the show are just now experiencing him for the first time in 10-12 years. They are not receptive to his styles. I'm not saying anything bad about his coaching or him. He is the greatest person/coach there is. But he has failed 3 players and in such failed to help the team.

The point is it shouldn't have only been 1 shot to win it. Klein stacks up against the rest and is the model candidate in his personal life as well.

Hey look A&M isn't chicken $H^7 to call a Heisman campaign a Heisman campaign like K-State is.

I commend A&M for not shying away from promoting their player. Pissed that K-State isn't doing the same thing.

It looks like we are in the lead for the imaginary MVP award though, so there is that.
