That's why it's imperative that he surrounds himself with the right assistants. In no way would Henson have been as good a hire. If you're going to run Frank off you MUST replace him with someone with a track record and that's what has happened.

So obviously we hope it goes more like his first 4 years than his last 5 years

I guess time will tell...Currie will be getting a lot of flack over this.  All the other forums are super P.O.'d about this hire...I wouldn't want to be Currie right now.

Andy Katz basically said that he stayed at Illinois for one year too long and that shouldn't take away from the fact that he coached in a national championship game.
