ADs think football playoff 'inevitable'

You probably would have had LSU vs. Stanford and Alabama vs. Oklahoma State with the winners playing for the National title. Under those circumstances I would be ok with an Alabama vs. LSU rematch.

It is. The BCS is totally lost after this year's fiasco.

I hope you're right. I've thought that 4-5 times during the whole BCS era though and it never seems to happen. I think under this scenario KSU would have ended up in the Fiesta Bowl. I still think that if they're going to have a BCS they should at least legislate that the right teams get into the BCS games. Under my scenario you could have still had your precious rematch but Oklahoma State would have played Wisconsin in a BCS bowl, Stanford would have played S. Carolina in a BCS bowl, KSU would have played Oregon in a BCS bowl and Arkansas would have played Boise State in a BCS bowl and everybody would have been happy.
