Here's a link to a Q&A where he explains Gameday's reasoning.

We’re going to do a lot about K-State this week. They’re a team we’ve followed a lot, and we’re doing a lot on that game. We’ll have a feature on Bill Snyder. We haven’t announced it yet, but there will be another segment of the show that K-State fans will be really excited about. I can’t tell you anything more about it right now, but we’re going to get the game plenty of play and coverage.

That quote has me VERY interested in the soon to be announced segment.  I honestly can't think of what it could possible be, but in Ubben's chat he said something to come that K-State fans will like.  If I had to guess, it seems that they realized they messed up and forgot that USC is on probation and shouldn't be receiving the extra buz, even though Stanford does and now feel sorry for us.  Hint the Snyder coverage and extra segment.  I am guessing ESPN will be on campus going around during tailgating time and giving us plenty of rep.  One could call it... duel Gameday, 1 hour talking about the USC/Stanford showdown, 2 hours showing USC as the backdrop talking about games coming up that day, and 1 hour of highlighting nothing but us.  I will take it!   :Salute:
