I heard some rumblings of a Pac 18 or a Pac 20 with KSU involved. Anybody got anything on that?

Sign me up for this.....

Can you imagine how insane that conference tournament in Madison Square Garden would be? It's already crazy. Surely with 20 schools (current 16 + KSU, KU, MU and TCU) they would have to go back to not inviting everybody to the conference basketball tournament. The bottom four would be left home, teams seeded 1-4 would get two byes, teams seeded 5-8 would get one bye, the First Round matchups would be 9 vs. 16, 10 vs. 15, 11 vs. 14 and 12 vs. 13. Those winners would play 5-8 and those winners would play 1-4. Plus we'd probably get to see Frank vs. Huggs at least once a year.

In football they only have 8 schools that play anyway so adding KSU, KU, MU and TCU would make 12 and you can have a championship game with the winner going to the Orange Bowl (just like the old Big 8 champion). Other bowl affiliations in the Big East are: Pinstripe Bowl, Champs Sports Bowl and the Beef O'Brady's Bowl. Well anyways.....Hopefully these "Super Conferences" will eliminate the little bowls all together.

I could be dead wrong, and I guess we will find out in the next few days....but I think that Oklahoma will come to their senses and they will want to stay in the Big12.  We will add one team (BYU) for next year and then work on finding two more (Cincy and Louisville) to get back to 12 teams and will continue on.  I dont see how it will be more profitable for anyone to leave and incur higher travel expenses by traveling to one of the coasts for all their sports.
