Klein, Lamur, Tuggle

anyone else disappointed that Tuggle isn't proving himself good enough to be the starter?

or is this just Snyder giving the starting job to the most experienced guy?

The HUGE surprise isn't that Tuggle isn't starting. It's that he is THIRD!

Snyder had proven he likes experiance and knowledge of the system over talent. This is why Snyder would have had no chance to recruit Freeman, and I don't think we will ever land a 4-5* Highschool QB because of this.

Thinking on this more. I wouldn't mind having Klein do well, and I hope he does. When was the last time K-State had a good QB that got significant playing time his Sophomore year, then grew into a great QB his Junior and Senior seasons. If Klein is our guy and he is improved in the passing game, then I'm 100% behind this decision.

I think after the spring game it is clear that Tuggle is most certainly the third string QB, although there is an article in the Mercury today where they interviewed JT (too early to start calling him that?) and he says he feels that he is going to really turn it on this summer. Seems like he still thinks he has what it takes to move up to starter, so the competition could still be there.

I'm a huge Klein fan, so my opinion may be a little biased, but I think Collin has the position on lock. His passing has improved most certainly in the distance and accuracy areas. His performance at the spring game was about as good as you can ask for. Add that to the fact that he is very familiar with the playbook and Synder, and that he is excellent with both teammates and the press, least we forget what he can do on his feet, I'm very comfortable with him taking over at the helm on offense.

After seeing him hit receivers in stride for the most part, and the one to Thompson, 50 yards through the air, and he didn't even break stride was a thing of beauty, I am much more at ease and excited to see Collin take over
