Basketball resign reason
by Alex James Potuzak on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 8:15pm

Now that I have your attention, I will explain why (because I'm guessing you're interested if you are reading this).  First, the terminology.  I didn't use the word 'quit', because that is not what I did.  I am on great terms with the basketball organization still because I waited to resign from the team at an appropriate time with appropriate means.  The reason for my actions are many (time used, lack of freedom for personal events, etc.) but it all boils down to the simple fact that I resigned because I WANTED to.  I decided to make this choice based on my viewpoint of basketball and how it had pertained to my life.  I faced a fork in my journey through life and had to choose.  Blame me if you must, but you are not me.  I want to thank you for reading this status, and if you want to comment feel free.  I respect the fact that you must do what is right for you.

Maybe Coach Martin can find some other awkward, uncoordinated big to walk-on and fill his roster spot... Wally Judge?
