Why no Russell?

I am still wondering whats up with Nick?  He comes in and has preformed well imo.  Was disappointed he only got the last minute of the OU game... Thought?

I really don't think that his lack of play time is necessarily about him, most of the other players and especially Jordan HR are on such good streaks as of right now, Frank is probably just trying to play them enough so that either we make the most of this streak or to get them to play at this level consistantly. At least thats what I think...

I just worry about Nick being unhappy with the current situation and deciding to leave after the season.  I'm tired of running off players (before they can develop) and replacing them with "upside" guys that don't meet expectations.

I see Nick as an aggressive ball handler that can create his own shot during crunch time (similar to the skill Pullen possesses, though I'm not making a comparison).  That, coupled with McGruder's deep threat could give defenses nightmares next season.  Throw in Spradling along with Samuels and that's a lineup I can get excited about.

Huge problem is these kids think that play time is something that doesn't need to be earned. There have been some many Beaslys Loves and Mayos in the past few years that any player with any talent thinks they should be seeing a majority of the minutes as an underclassman. I think it's great to have him on the bench and getting good "experience" minutes. No need to have him playing 20 minutes a game.
