No surprises.  I'm glad to see Sams actually signed with us... some other schools were making a late push at him including Oregon.

Lamonte Clark
Cody Whitehair

Keep an eye on Bernard Thomas, one of the top uncommitted CBs...

wouldn't you include Daniel Sams as one of our top high school recruits, or were you including him when you said you were glad to see he actually signed with us.

So i understand how the Brown bros. and burns are included into this class because of transfers, but i need help understanding how these guys from last years class are included into this years. is it because we signed too many for the amount of scholarships we had last year or what?

Destin Mosley

Kason Hostrup

Kyle Klein

Curry sexton

will Arthur have 2 years and Bryce have 3?

Unfortunately, this class ranks last in the Big 12 (per Rivals).  Keep in mind this does not include the transfer of the Browns and Burns.

Hard to evaluate the class with those guys  left out of the rankings.  The positive note, we have 25-30 signees.  That adds some much needed depth to the team.

Those four guys are considered grayshirts.  When they signed last year they had the understanding that they would not practice with the team but be guaranteed a scholarship the following year.  This allows them to workout/bulk up and start their academic career early.  Not sure how they apply to the NCAA limits of 25 scholarships in a recruiting class.
