just gonna say...every thing gonna be back to normal...our couple of years of decent basketball are over...everything is gonna fall back in place and go back to the way things were. KU being dominant as always in basketball, Us sucking in basketball. KU sucking at football will continue, and Us being good/dominant will continue and happen.

hope everyone enjoyed it while it lasted, cause from what im seeing, its over.

When I first heard this I now have to question Frank.  I am not against him by any means... yet, but his coaching style might not be acceptable in college sports.  Its fine to work someone really hard and make them puke at practice... but what good is running them to death when a majority of the problems are non athletic problems (leadership + Free throws + Shooting %).  But as always, I am not a coach and my opinion really means nothing.  Though, Frank has mentioned like 3 times this season how he either got out coached (duke game in particular) or didn't know how to handle something as a coach.  I don't mind having a coach with minimal college head coaching experience when the team goes and looks goods and loses, but going out and looking embarrassing and having ESPN bloggers call out games (how ugly the Baylor game was, "not even basketball") is unacceptable.  Wally would have been a huge assest next year, maybe even more so the following year.  This is a big loss, do doubt.  Our depth is questionable now and actually a problem with enough fouls.  GL cats, don't keep disappointing.

Funny you mention football as us being good/dominant.  We no longer get cupcake north teams only.  Just hope baseball starts going to the NCAA tourney more often.  Our athletics program needs a few years before we might have a breakout year in one of the top sports.

I'm looking at Russell to be the next to quit and after that, all the future recruits will go elsewhere.  At season's end...Martin will probably have to quit too.   :palm:

It's like the world is coming down.  KSU was not supposed to be good in any sport.  Karma is too blame for this.  One good year....ten bad years.  Do the math

Russell is more than likely going to leave.

I am posting this for someone who refuses to post... This unnamed person says to expect more 4 guard sets with McGruder at the 4.

I said in my "A Look at Nebraska" post that this is the time to start to roll. The timing of this is, how you say, REALLY REALLY BAD!

Possible landing spots for Wally (as rumored by ESPN)... Maryland and UNLV.
