I once had a great conversation with a great man named Meatz...and he discussed with me how being a fan of Kansas State University is just setting yourself up for heartbreak. This school has a long history of breaking hearts...I'm a fan, but I'm a guarded fan because I don't want to get my heart broken year after year.
With that being said, Cole, I hear ya man. I got sucked into the hype and I fell for the fantasy that this year might be the year that KSU wouldn't break any hearts. I was fooled again. The trick is to savor the times when we come out of no where (like last years bball team) and surprise people, those are the times to fall in love. It's seasons like this that I just remember drinking beers with a man named Meatz, talkin about heart break...
