I have not seen this anywhere yet but early reports say Kruger has "left" the team.  Does anybody have solid evidence that this is the case??

In other related news, freshman walk-on Jarrod Kruger has left the men’s basketball team.

2011 basketball commit Adrian Diaz was in Manhattan for the weekend.  Got a chance to see him up close and the guy is every bit of 7'0".  I never got a good pic of him standing but here's one of him lounging in his seat:



Definitely needs to put some muscle on to compete in the Big 12, maybe a year in prep school like JHR would do him some good.  Hope he has a great senior year in high school this year after being out last year with a broken foot.

Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Frank knows Wally and/or Freddy will be going pro after this season.  They're primed for breakout years.

From what I've seen of Freddy so far, I don't see him going pro any time soon.

I agree...I don't want to bash Wally, but it seems he has the talent, but lacks in the maturity and basketball IQ needed to be really good.  He had it easy in HS and didn't have to know how to defend.   He just seems so lost out there.

We're tops on his list right now.  No offer yet, but if Frank wants him it sounds like he's ours.

He's been flying under the radar since coming to the states but is finally starting to gain interest from other schools.
