Some bright spots in Saturdays loss to Okie State:

- The Wildcats shot 77.4 percent from the free-throw line hitting on 24-of-31 attempts
- K-State out-rebounded OSU 38-33 (the Cats rank 7th in the nation)
- Rodney McGruder posted double digits with 19 points marking his fourth game in the last five scoring 10+… In that span he has averaged 15.6 points a game… McGruder pulled down 6 rebounds to lead the team in the effort as well

I noticed the 2 games CK was sitting on the bench, the bigs had more of anattitude out there and played better. He has to stay home on saturday and they really stunk it up. I'm wondering if he had been doing some bench coaching or if it was playing in Bram. We will fid out this week.

What scares me is that 6 rebounds was a team leading effort. Not even to mention that it is once again McGruder that leads the team in rebounds. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think rebounding was going to be an easy before this season started.

Technicals depend on how the game goes. If K-State is in a slump I could see us getting 1 (not Frank, but a player). If we are as Physical as we can be and doing OK, I see OSU getting frustrated and possibly trying to match our physicality with a stupid mistake.

Boy Lynch, you nailed it.  Samuels getting a technical.  The only problem is the rest of your statement went the other way.  We weren't physical....our bigs were totally owned.  And not because Kelly wasn't there...he would have been owned just as much and would have probably got a technical for whining.

This definitely is not the same team as last year.  I hate to admit it, but we will be lucky to get into the dance.

Yah, that's why I said "IF" we are as physical as we can be. It's kind of hit and miss for this team. It's almost like if they KNOW for a fact they are the dominate team physically they will drop the hammer, but are timmid around closely matched teams.
