New Years Hangover Thread
« on: January 01, 2011, 02:56:27 PM »

Ways to end awful hangovers after a long night of drinking on New Years Eve.

1. Gatorade/Powerade - Electrolytes help hydrate your body.

2. Water - I don't think this works as well as Gatorade, but it obviously still helps hydrate your body.

3. Sleep and Rest - Usually you feel like crap because you didn't get enough sleep.  I have found that sleeping is the best solution.

Take 2 tylenol and a shower before you go to sleep. Throw up a few time early in the morning then sleep for a few more hours. Don't know if you can call that a cure but it's what happens to me with every hangover.

Just plain old V8 for me.  Rehydrates and the tomato juice has a ton of vitamins and minerals for a quick recovery.

I've noticed if you throw up the night you drank, you are not as likely to throw up later in the day.  But yes, sleep is a great way!

 :Salute: to all the suggestions.

Shower is a must after a long night.  Followed by 2 raw hotdogs and 2 glasses of water.  Don't ask me why, but I learned it when I was in the Fraternity and it actually works.  If you are a fan of medicine, and in keeping with the 2 theme, 2 Advil or Tylenol will help.

Keep  :Drink:

Actually, the hotdog idea might actually work.  At our senior party we had hotdogs along with our bonfire, and I had no hangover the next day.
