If Wally is battling depression, as has been reported, his ability to focus on basketball may come and go.  I hope that is the only reason he is not playing. Flu would be preferable because eventually that will go away.  But the doghouse I don't like.

Hope it's not depression, with all the pressures to perform put on these young kids, it's not to surprising. Would think it happens more often.

I was very shocked he didn't play.  He is 100% needed going forward with a big man down.  Come on judge!! We believe in you.  Tech might have gone fine without, but tech will be fighting ou for last place I am thinking, so it doesn't mean much.

I will say one thing.  He might not have played but he was the biggest cheerleader on our bench.  I watched him alot and he was always the first one to greet the guys as they came to the bench.  While Russell just moped around...

Read yesterday he didn't play because he was hurt and couldn't practice on Friday. With the news of Thursday and Friday practice being the hardest in Frank Martin history. I hope this is indeed the reason.

Why would Frank make that practice so hard??  He does realize that we were about to play a Sat/Mon combo with one team being rather good??

Well be happy Mizzou had to play in an ovetime thriller and then travel back to Columbia.  I am sure they have had less time to prepare for this game then we did.

Directly after the game the media went into our locker room to find them already watching film for the Mizzou game.
