It is my feeling that while we may not deserve a bowl, depending on the North Tejas outcome, we deserve a bowl at least as much as many of the 6-6 or 7-5 teams that will get into this glut of bowls that we now have.  I mean, there are 35 freakin' bowls including the BCS bowls !   That is 70 teams to fill all the bowls.

Ok, there are too many bowl games, but at 6-6, we are as deserving as any other 6-6 team and if we get to 7-5, more deserving than almost all 6-6 teams, especially Tejas (if they get to 6-6)...

I'll stop ranting now.

Back from Boulder... man that was hard to stomach.  Defense was atrocious; officiating was even worse (though I will never claim that it cost us a game).

I am confident in our chances against North Texas this Saturday.  With that win, we are as much deserving of a bowl as anyone else.  But after the season is over, Bill better reevaluate the coaching staff and the direction he is taking.

Defense has taken a huge step back this year. Problem is I don't see any recruits that will improve the squad next year.

I've noticed that too.  You would think that would be Snyder's highest priority when he took over, but he seems to be interested in offense.  Go figure.

We have a solid DE in Meshak Williams (4 star JuCo) and DT Lamonte Clark coming in next year.  That should help the defensive line considerably along with DE Adam Davis (4 star JuCo, last year) if he is healthy.

I'm excited with the progression of LB Tre Walker and S Ty Zimmerman as freshman.  And don't forget about Arthur Brown at LB as well.

The biggest worry for me is the secondary.  Terrance Sweeney, Stephen Harrison, and Troy Butler all graduate this year.  And there are no CBs in the recruiting class as of yet!
