Defiantly a question worth asking. The problem with this whole deal is that there is a lot of opinions and hearsay floating around and very little confirmed facts.

Either way Frank's gone, and its extremely important that a quality replacement be found. I just don't like seeing more things that run against Currie due to the fact that gaining a reputation of having a toxic Athletic Department scares away quality coaches. This is not to say that Currie deserves his job, though.

My thoughts: UPKS and ADJC need to get there act together and learn from this whole mess.

I am starting to actually get very excited about this search.  We have Gottlieb basically telling everyone how this is such an elite place right now that I think we can bring in a very big name.  So worst worst case we promote Underwood... OK!  that's a perfectly fine hire imho.  Take a gamble on Doug and I can finally see a top 5 recruiting class.  He has more connections then anyone out there.  Don't take a gamble and get someone like Boyle... this could all turn out very well for us.  I will miss Frank, but look what he got us, and elite place.

Now I'm hearing whispers of former Duquesne head coach Ron Everhart and even ESPN analyst Doug Gottlieb. My confidence that our beloved AD is going to blow this is growing by the day.

The Gottlieb thing is getting insane. Twitter is all up in a frenzy about him, and I am 100% sure GoEMAW is behind the push for this. Thankfully our AD DOES have common sense (bad judgement) and will not make that hire.
