I think we play 15 non conf games... against 3 or 4(if it’s Duke) ranked teams.  IMO, VT won’t be a huge test compared to neutral games with Gonzaga and possibly Duke.  But @Florida is just as scary as Duke.  As a top team as we are predicted, I think we get the wins against VT and Gonzaga, but I don't see us winning either of the other two.  I suppose that leaves me with a 13-2 non conf record before our big first game @ OSU.  Though.. with the uncertainty of how huge a loss DC was to the team, I can see us dropping one that we shouldn't lose, classic KSU style.    However, I will keep my Wildcat Goggles on and keep the 13-2.

Right now it is hard to make predictions because we have yet to see this team in action and see how they mesh on the court (NOTE: Miami Heat last night, best team ever assembled but looked like sh*t).  So I going to conservatively say 15-0.  I am not sure this team is susceptible to the "Classic KSU" style....if that was the case, they would have been eliminated KU style (1st or 2nd round) in the tourny.

I'm going to say that the people who voted us 1st in the Big 12 and then the other people who voted us 3rd in the Nation 2 spots away from last year’s Nat'l Champ kind of know what they are doing.

Now I wouldn't say this if K-State had only a few nationally televised games last year, but we didn't we were in front of a lot of these "experts" all year long. They know what kind of team we are without DC and yet still have the confidence to give us the #3 spot. They don't know what kind of team KU is without Selby and that is all you hear about for KU.

Impact of single player not playing this year:
Selby > Clemente

14-1 Loss to Duke

Gonzaga brings it hard when they play in tourney's, I am not feeling too good about that one. I'm more confident we will win @Florida than in KC vs Zags. Va Tech should not be overlooked, but since that game is at home we should take them down.

I'm gonna go with 14-1, with the lone loss coming from Gonzaga or Duke..

I think it will take some time to get team chemistry figured out with Clemente and Sutton gone and the influx of young talent.  TWO losses would not shock me in the non-con.
