Shane Southwell = Game changer
« on: January 17, 2011, 10:20:19 AM »

Ok, so I have been high on this guy all year and he did me proud on Saturday.  He might not load up the box score but this kid runs a game how it is supposed to be run.  Not to mention his defense was amazing.  Also, when he is not even playing he is standing up coaching from the sidelines.  This kid is going to be huge for us going forward. :Salute:

I believe he will, remember this was only his second start, and it was at MU against that pressure. He will be a very good player. I would also like to see Myles on the floor more, he has been instant offense. Next year will be nice to add Nino, I believe he will do good things for us also

Where is Nino...has he been redshirted?  Actually, let me rephrase that....where is the whole team.  Have they all been RS?

Ha, I am pretty sure thier plan was to redshirt him.  Now that kid is going to be good one day.  Did anybody watch the Mo-KAN game where he dominated!!

P.S. Spradling played in that game.

Nino suffered two concussions (during practice) in a very short amount of time.  Those health concerns along with Shane Southwell being further along (game ready) led to the decision to redshirt him.
