Title: Miami
Post by: Lynch on September 05, 2012, 11:21:39 AM
Hard to tell how we will match up against these guys. It's going to be tough for sure, and if we come out with our heads up our butts we don't stand a chance against their speed. I really don't know how good BC is/was last week so for me the hardest part is not knowing the level that Miami is at this year.

I'm nervous for Saturday for sure.

At least Ubben doesn't think it will be an upset.

It all depends on the pass rush IMO. If we can get some pressure up on the QB I think K-state can pull this one out. I'm hoping to see a little more accuracy on the deep ball from Klein in this game because a couple good deep completions can really open things up. I am a little nervous about the help that Malone is getting, which doesn't seem to be very much. Chapman looked slow and lost, and the safties looked as they are (greenhorns). If the pass rush can be effective that will help these guys out though.

Does anybody know why Tre Walker didn't play much? Was it just to let the other two linebackers battle for that third spot or was something wrong?

What a fun game!!  The weather was terrific.  The Harleys were loud.  The crowd was purple.  And the Cats were much improved over last week.

And Silver Medalist Erik Kynard Jr (as well as 7 other KSU-related Olympians, plus 2 KSU coaches) was given due honors at halftime.

It's going to be another good year for the Wildcats.
