Title: Over Hyped but realistic projections
Post by: KSUftw on September 26, 2011, 10:04:04 AM
I am going to put out a talent projection and Snyder projection.  For a K-State fan, there is a big difference.

Team             Talent      Snyder Coached
Eastern Ky -      W             W
Kent St. -         W             W
@Miami (FL) -    L              W (This is exactly why it matters to have different projects.  He dealt with long distance traveling, weather delayed game, and came out with the win.)
Baylor -            L/W          W (This game is on ABC and in the prime of the day.  Crowds will be excited for this one as it gets us back in the Top 25 with a W.  Snyder slows down Baylor and capitalizes on turnovers to win this one.)
Missouri -         L              L (Snyder can keep them focused after the Miami win, but being ranked gets in the palyers head and we pass up a prime chance to continue to be undefeated.)
@ Tech -         W            W (We finally take advantage of a rebuilding team and knock off tech on the road.  I hate playing there.)
@ KU -            W            W (We rub it in thier face again and get bowl eligible early on.)
OU -                L             L (Yikes, that got out of hand quickly.  Klein gets knocked out, wont be in for most of game.)
@OSU -           L             L (OSU gets up early, we crawl back in the second half to make it a game, but our defense tires mid 4th q.)
A&M -             L             W (Snyder rallies the team after back to back losses and we come away with a big win.)
@Texas           L             L (Our running game gets shut down in this matchup.  Texas can finally breath easy as we turn it over to many times.  Thanks for keeping us in a AQ conference though.)
ISU -              W            W (We finish the season strong, finish top half and get ready for some bowling.)

Notes: Between the Baylor and Mizzou game, we win one of them.  I am figuring this year its Baylor.
Between the OU and A&M game (our bigger home games), we win one of them.  A&M seemed more likely.

Classic Snyder teams don't lose to MU. This is looking like a classic Snyder team.
