Why cant we ever have anything nice!

SO the hope we have is one of the Brother's didn't take a scholarship to Miami, and they both have already sat out 1 year.
Hope that strip club was good.

I think you'll be okay. The NCAA moves pretty slowly on these things, so it may be next year before they actually do anything. And luckily it won't hurt your school in the long run.
-
Yeah, Miami is SCREWED!
-
Can't wait to see the fallout!
It will be interesting to see what kind of rules/regulations come out of this.
Found this good write up for the whole situation:

Yeah but if we play the Brown brothers in the meantime and it comes back that they should have been ineligible, we're screwed!
I have a question: Does this situation increase our chances to beat Miami because I would think that there are going to be suspensions galore?
-
Again I think to comes back to how quickly the NCAA moves on this. If they lay the hammer down on Miami then yes we have a great chance in the game, but if Miami is quick the Browns might be the next target, so it's a double edged sword.

Bullet dodged?

Kansas State University officials said they've been told the status of Wichita football players Arthur and Bryce Brown will not be impacted by an investigation of illegal benefits given to Miami players and recruits.
A statement released by KSU Wednesday evening said, "Kansas State University has been in communication with the NCAA regarding Arthur Brown and Bryce Brown, the NCAA staff has informed the institution that it has no concerns about their eligibility to compete at K-State. Kansas State University does not comment on NCAA investigations at other institutions...... and will have no further comment.â€
A Miami booster told Yahoo! Sports he provided illegal benefits for dozens of athletes, including Arthur and Bryce Brown. Arthur Brown played two seasons at Miami before transferring. Bryce Brown committed to Miami but played his freshman year at Tennessee before transferring to KSU.

I'd say so. If not we won't hear anything about it unless the Brown's do get benched. I'm sure that things will be "looked into" but doesn't sound like anything will come of it.

It appears the NCAA has cleared both Arthur and Bryce. My concern, then, is if new allegations arise as this scandal moves forward.
