It looks like his agent is asking for $10 million and the Royals are closer to $7.5 million.  I was pulling for the home-town kid to sign with KC but that request is absolutely ridiculous. Let him go play football for the Nubbies and dream about what it would have been like to be a millionaire.

I wondering if there is an extra $2.5 Million the Royals could have gotten from just ticket sales and merchandise for a local kid. This was probably already in their 7.5 Million estimates.
