The cats are in a must win situation this weekend as they round out the season with their final series against KU. Friday is a home game and then Saturday and Sunday are in Lawrence. K-State needs to win two of the last three games to keep the chance alive for them to make the Big XII tournament. Both these teams are more closely matched than one would think by looking at their overall records (KU 26-27) as the cats have struggled after reaching conference play.
Should be some great baseball this weekend, I know I'll be going to the game Friday.

What's sad is we played extremely well OOC but fell apart during Big 12 play. I know Big 12 is no easy task, but we should not be in this situation.

Well that Cats really pulled it together down the stretch, the tournament wins over Oklahoma and the complete sweep of Kansas were huge. Wish they would have got at least one win over A&M. They play Stanford in the Fullerton region, game is going to be on ESPN U at 6. Very excited that it will be televised.

Well that will do it for the Cats Baseball team. Good year overall, just hope we can make it a little further in the tournament next year.
