According to Sid Harman of the Star Tribune, while Tubby Smith is sick and tired of the rumors that have him leaving Minnesota for other schools, Smith says he would listen to Arkansas if they called.
Another name gaining some steam for the Razorbacks job is that of Frank Martin, the fiery Kansas State head coach. Missouri's Mike Anderson also remains a possibility, but anything more that happens with Anderson won't happen until the end of the Tigers' season.
:palm:

I could see him leaving for Miami, but not this job. Why Arkansas???
-
Not even slightly nervous about this one. :pissed:
-
OMG what if he leaves us for ARKANSAS!!! :typical: :ksuftw: :64-0: :sosad: :herewego:
-
There is no way he leaves K-State to coach at Arkansas, no way! Miami makes since, a currently sub-par basketball program in the SEC does not.
-
Thanks Herdsmen. Thought for a minute there we already lost him!

I thought about posting this rumor earlier but decided that it was a bunch of BS, plain and simple. The fans/media think they have a shot at wooing Frank Martin or Bill Self... BILL SELF. Give me an f'ing break. I'll give them the possibility of Mike Anderson, with the connection he already has at the university, but they aren't going to make a home run hire.
This coaching carousel speculation gets out of control for schools like Arkansas and NC State who think their job opening is better than it really is. And ESPN is mostly to blame. They throw names out and see what sticks. No need to panic.

There has been alot of talk of Missouri's Mike Anderson to Arkansas. Now that it doesn't look like that is going to happen the names I'm hearing are Marquette's Buzz Williams and Wichita State's Gregg Marshall.
I'm starting to hear Baylor's Scott Drew linked to Tennessee

Also.....I've fixed the Subject line
:Salute:

HAHA Thanks!

Scott Drew would be an excellent fit for Tennessee. He has a history of recruiting violations and they have a history of recruiting violations. Match made in heaven. Also, I couldn't be happier to see him go from Baylor, so they can once again become the doormat of the Big 12-2

Baylor back to their murdering ways.
