Title: Schedule Poster
Post by: Felis Silvestris on October 19, 2010, 03:33:14 PM
Here's the 2010-2011 schedule poster for men's basketball:

Better then KSTATEO but definitely not as cool as last year's "Every Man a Wildcat" concept.  What do you think???

I don't like this at all, there are more than just two members on our team.  At least last year they had our starting five.

Agreed.  I think I might even prefer the Women's Bball (http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/ksu/graphics/wp-10-wbb-1024.jpg) or Volleyball (http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/ksu/graphics/wp-10-vb-1024.jpg) version even more.

None-the-less, I've already hung this poster in my office.  Go State!

:Drink:  I personally love it.  Its clean, semi funny, semi tough, are two seniors, one being the face of k-state basketball for this year.  You can add more to the poster by not including so many people.  Maybe I am to giddy over this year, but right now, huge fan of the poster!

Last year's poster was dark and angry.  It was a good representative of the lack of national respect we had for NCAA tournament bids and reflected the inner humanity of our new coach on the rise.

This year's poster is fun-loving, bright, and intense without being over-bearing.  This is a good homage to last year's success with a flair that shows our hunger to be on top.

My biggest hope is that the 2011-2012 poster has a new Final Four Banner or National Championship Trophy!  EMAW!!!

WoW that's some deep stuff. It's just a poster.

I really like this one for one BIG reason. Most of the posters are also what is put on the Billboards. Imagine that on a Billboard. It's going to look sweet!

1 - Thanks for the comments guy.  There may or may not be an Art Professor at K-State with my exact same name so I try and uphold his name.  I will do my best to bring my deep and philosophical analysis to these boards.

2 - Great call about that poster being on the billboards also.  Imagine the first time somebody drives down I-70 out of Topeka to Kansas City and sees "The Beard" busting through a billboard ready to show you his Chicago one-on-one skills.  I may avoid I-70 now out of sheer fear of said beard.

3 - I love the new slogan for the nation - "Deep, insightful conversation (not like the other guys)."  If you need me to write a front page research article about either of the below topics, let me know.
     - "The Reverse Mirror:  A Cause and Effect Relationship of College Sports TV Rights"
     - "Combustible Atmosphere:  A fan-based analysis of rivalry percolation at night games."

Combustible Atmosphere:  A fan-based analysis of rivalry percolation at night games

I will expect this by Saturday. TIA.

I hope K-State Nation has a attorney on retainer to trademark that slogan.  Would hate for a rival to steal it.
