Albatross is reporting freddy aprilla has left the team. More to come later.
-
He is gone. Coach Martin announced that Freddy is leaving (read on GoPowercat.com).
-
Looks like it was a mutual decisio to leave. He will return to columbia to pursue a professiional career in bball and help his ill mother.
-
Good Luck and thanks for everything Freddy
:Salute:

This team can't take too many more losses to personnel.
-
Reports are that his mother is very ill and he will go pro so he can pay medical expenses. Cannot blame him for that. In fact, if that is the case I would say it is admirable. Now, did he contribute enough that he will be sorely missed? Perhaps not to date. But he is a Wildcat so I wish him all the best.
I lived in Colombia for two years (many years ago). They are beautiful people but economically very poor. I would imagine going home before his college career is over took some deep soul searching. Let's all wish him well and thank him for whatever contributions he made to KState.
-
Reports im hearing are related to a dispute at practice on Friday, and his wish to try pro. Hope it's not his mother but if it is then that is allowable.
-
Update:
Just read from meek that it is family issues leading to basketball issues. Hope all is well and wish him luck.
Modified my post above so I don't sound like such a POS. Thanks wildcat4ever ;)

Sound complicated. Kelly not speaking highly about him.

Geez. Way to throw your teammate under the bus Curt! Frank needs to stop this team from talking to the media.....NOW!
:palm:
-
I know this is kind of a mute point since everybody kind of knows the situation but I wanted to add something to this (Aggieville got the best of me (can't drink like I used to be able to in college) this wkend so I wasn't able to post in a timely manner, my apologies).
Anywho, I overheard a conversation while eating dinenr at Hibachi Hut that after the CO game Frank essentially drew a line in the sand and said if you don't want to be here, play by my rules, and play as hard as you can every practice/game, then don't bother coming back tomorrow.
Freddy didn't. If you can't handle the heat get out of the fire.

Asprilla to bypass Columbia for Canisius
-
Don't care. Asprilla is dead to K-State. No place for a guy who is unwilling to put in the time and effort. This team may be struggling but I want players who are dedicated to the program.

How do you feel about Mike and Bill :D

How do you feel about Mike and Bill :D
Are you saying their situations are comparable? Because I would never question Mike and Bill's level of EMAW.
