I vote #1.  Looks to me more like the actual salute.  Maybe use salute one with the second background.

Received a message from Spreadshirt today saying they took down the Salute design shirts because they think it is copyright infringement on a third party. Does anyone know what the usage is for the powercat? I thought if it was "modified" it was OK to use.

Maybe transparent doesn't constitute as modified.

Lynch,

Designs on t-shirts, etc. are a rather touchy subject.  Especially with that firm in Lawrence getting sued by ku.

It looks like you are trying the same company that goEMAW (ksu_fan) is using.  Not seeing any hint of a powercat on their designs...

Perhaps they (Spreadshirt) can elaborate on what their thinking is with respect to the powercat...

We need our own design to avoid any and all future conflicts. I don't want to piss off K-State Licensing folks.

It could be the issue of the powercat not being altered enough OR that a player's likeness was used. 

I guess I'll do it the old fashioned way and make an iron-on transfer!
