1 More. Lets go Cincinnati!

Who's excited for the playoffs!
Chiefs have more wins this season than the previous 3 combined.
-
I am excited and bummed at the same time. I am going to this weeks game and I wanted to be a win or go home type of game. Now that we are already in it won't be as much fun....but don't worry, I will still ahve fun!

What's this crap about OCCW going to Florida?
:typical:
-
No fing way!
-
I can't imagine that an OC job in college would be a step up from an OC job in the NFL!
-
Well the news is him and Haley don't see eye to eye... I spoke to an ESPN affiliate that use to keep an eye on the ksufans website and this is the reason he may be leaving, Haley was asked in a interview if he knew anything about it and he said he had not heard anything... Which leads me to believe the source that these two just arn't on the same page. The big problems started against I believe it was either Houston or Oakland but on a 4th and 1 we threw the ball instead of ran it, TH was furious with CW and things had gone down hill since that point!
-
Probably going to be hard for any OC to work with him. He has his own ideas on how an offense should be run and it isn't very conventional.
-
I know they don't get along. I've known it since we hired CW. I'm just praying that we even come close to finding another OC like CW. This franchise has come too far to have a setback right now.
-
What about Josh McDaniels for OC? He has Patriots ties so the chemistry of the coaching staff wouldn't be hurt.
-
There's a story on ESPN.com about Jim Harbaugh's options and they mention the Chiefs as a possible destination for him. I can't find anywhere in the article where they mention the Chiefs. Any idea what capacity they'd bring him in at if they do bring him in?
-
So is it Official that Charlie is done here?
-
He will coach through the playoffs and then off to sunny Florida....

Season grades:
Kansas City Chiefs: Grade: A
Todd Haley might be coach of the year for creating an environment that helped the Chiefs win six more games than they did last season. The concern for the future might be the loss of offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, who left for the University Florida after helping Matt Cassel post a Pro Bowl-caliber season. The Chiefs took advantage of the league's easiest schedule.

HOMER!!! ;)
From an outside perspective (I'm a Broncos fan, let the jokes begin), I wouldn't go as far as an "A" rating. While their record is vastly improved, it IS the result of an easy schedule. They had some very bad (and disappointing) losses. I'd say a solid "B" is more realistic.
The team still has some deficiencies to be addressed but have made some real progress in identifying who will be a part of their future. And that future has the potential to be VERY bright.

2011 Chiefs. Better, worse, about equal?

I'm going to say better. As long as Dwayne Bowe can stay a threat in the passing game, Charles should be able to find some running room. The play calling will need to be vastly improved, and some help on defense in the draft would be nice.

The play calling will need to be vastly improved
Do we know who the offensive coordinator is going to be yet?

Hopefully not who was calling them in the 2nd half of the Ravens game :-X

I meant to post this before the game, but I thought how both offenses were playing the last few games that it would be a Boldin vs. Bowe matchoff for the win. Boldin did show up, Bowe... no comment. Ravens used just enough ground game to keep their passing game legit, and we did that as well.. but failed miserably on the passing side. Next year maybe??
