I thought this was crazy until I just heard Craig James say the same thing on ESPN's Bowl Selection Show. He said we should add Boise State and Arkansas. I don't think there would be alot of objection to this.

Let's just do it. I'm in...

I almost think this would be better for us than playing OU, Texas, Okie State, Baylor, A&M and Tech EVERY year!!
-
Yeah,
Boise State would love to come to the Big 12 but I think Arkansas would never come over here because of there deal with SEC. I would love to see both teams come over.
-
New word on the street is that we would replace Arkansas with Memphis. I am still OK with this. I think I will be OK with whatever they decide to do because we do need to get back to the North/South set-up and 12 teams. Anything to make our conference better i am OK with.

My wish list:
1. BYU
2. Notre Dame
3. Arkansas
4. Cincinnati
5. Louisville
You could throw in Boise State and Memphis but I'm looking at schools that have a basketball AND football program.
If you could get both BYU and Notre Dame that would be huge for the conference as a whole, based on the fanbase (religious fanatics) throughout the nation. Imagine the pull you would have when discussing a new TV contract. Arkansas would be solid but I agree it would be hard to woo them from the SEC.

Since this is Christmas time I will put out my Santa Big 12 list.
1. Arkansas (This school is so similar to the other remaining Big 12 schools + Walmart Money!)
2. Louisville (So I can go to away games and have a crawfish dinner!)
3. BYU + Notre Dame (Have to come together that way at the end of the season we the overall winner between those two and Baylor wins the religion battle.)
4. Any other team but TCU. If TCU comes to the Big 12 kiss our chances at Patterson goodbye

No way do BYU and ND give up their Independent status anytime soon. Louisville? Cincinnati? Meh!

The possible caveat to the BYU/ND conversation would be to add them to all sports but football. That way they get to keep the benefits of being independent and the BIG12 doesn't have a conference championship in football (which OU and Texas both are in favor of). Win-Win?

The only way we get ND or Arkansas is with Jerry Jone's help. He has expressed interest in Financially encouraging those schools to come to the Big 12 so he doesn't lose the CC.
