Get ready for another year that we share QB time throughout the season. Sams gets the nod for the opener, but as we pull out a 31 point lead, Waters comes in early in the 4th and shows us nothing as Snyder only has him do a few read options and short passes. La La is another scary matchup for Snyder (not for anyone who likes strong non-confs though) and he starts Sams again. Due to a lower scoring game, Waters only gets a couple minutes in the 4th. But o wait, Waters get the full game against Massachusetts and gives Texas the biggest ? yet, how in the heck did Waters not start the season and who do we prepare for. Don't worry Texas, if you are reading this, I can assure you Sams starts and exposes a hole in your run stopping ability. Game stays close, so Sams plays the entire game. From there on, I don't know if Snyder keeps mixing it up, but I have a feeling that Waters will start at OSU and only last till half time.
Please note, I am excited about Waters, just don’t see Snyder rolling with him as Sams has seen to much D1 playing time and managed the game somewhat well against OSU.
Thoughts?

Whatever happens this can't not be allowed to take place

Hope that Sams has just as much of a throwing ability as Waters. This would make him a Big 12 killer. Run option with ability to bomb it down field and more accurately than our Heisman finalist. Makes me giddy.

Why did you send that link. The horrors of those times.

Ubben has faith.
K-State has no idea who its starter will be yet, and both looked capable of being great players during the spring game, the only real glimpse we've gotten of Jake Waters and Daniel Sams running the full offense. The bad news for the rest of the Big 12: Snyder's offenses are best when they're run by a mobile quarterback. Both Waters and Sams can move, though Sams has better straightaway speed.
